During the use phase of your product or service, the environmental impact resulting from its use by your customers is recorded. This includes potential repairs or maintenance work as well as an assessment of energy and resource consumption by users.

Repair and maintenance play an important role here. It is about the possible need for repairs or maintenance work during the period of use. Regular maintenance can extend the life of the product and reduce the need for replacement purchases, which ultimately reduces the environmental impact.

We also look at the energy and resource consumption of users. This includes the estimated amount of energy or other resources consumed during use. This can include the energy consumption of electrical appliances or the water consumption of household products during their useful life.

Another aspect is the life cycle costs, i.e. the financial expenses associated with the use of the product. These include the costs of energy, maintenance and potential repairs. By analyzing these costs, measures can be taken to improve the efficiency and profitability of the product.
