Channels
Business Model Canvas definition of “Channels”
In this section, you deal with the aspect of how customers are reached and how their customer journey progresses.
The marketing and sales channels available to you include online options such as social media and websites as well as offline options such as television, newspapers and physical stores. For this step, it is necessary that you engage with your target audience, as this will make it easier for you to determine which distribution channels are most effective for reaching them.
Another key point in the business model canvas is the design of the customer journey. This refers to all contact points at which the customer comes into contact with your company and your product. Where does the customer become aware of your product, how does the customer make a purchase and how does the customer behave after the purchase? As soon as you are aware of these points, you will have a very good understanding of your customers and their behavior.
When filling out your template, the sales channels are in fourth place in the Business Model Canvas sequence.
