- Product or service offering: In the context of sustainability, the value proposition can aim to offer products that are manufactured in an environmentally friendly way, are durable, recyclable or repairable, as well as services that are provided in a resource-efficient manner.
- Pricing: The value proposition should also include information on how the products or services are priced. In the sustainable business model canvas, this can mean that the price is fair and transparent to reflect the value of sustainability.
- Customer orientation: The value proposition should take the customer perspective into account and show how the company addresses the needs, problems and wishes of customers.
